15,18, and 21 month old post....

Yep...it all started when Ty started walking. I slowly but surely got behind on EVERYTHING. It seems the blog was the last thing to get done and this post is the proof. I had good intentions to get things rolling but never followed through. So I's gonna start with 15 months:

My child has surprised me. He started walking a little late (they say this is normal for boys though) so I figured everything else would fall a little late as well. NOPE. Ty started really walking around 13 months. He started trying to say some words, more like babble, around the end of 13 months beginning of 14 months. By 15 months he could say 28 words. He is into everything and wants to know what each thing he touches is. He will touch something and look at me for me to tell him what it is. He will go through all of his toys and all his facial features. We have started with animals and their noises but haven't gotten too far. As for his dr check up, here are his stats: ht-31 1/4 (50%), Wt- 24.4 (50%), Hc- 19 1/4 ( 95%-gets that big head from his daddy). He did well with his shots and only cried for a minute.

18 months:
Ty is talking. No really. Like can almost hold a conversation with me. He can pretty much repeat any 1-2 syllable word. Although we just taught him how to say Happy Birthday for mine and Travs birthday. He can pretty much do anything he wants and if he cant figure it out he screams for a second and then figures it out. He is very stubborn and usually doesnt like help unless something is "too heavy" which he tells me and then I have to carry it for him. He knows all the animal sounds thanks to a book he makes me read over and over and over again. We have been working on ABC's and 123's. He can say ABCD and 1234. I am such a proud momma. If he spots a B somewhere, he points it out immediately. It is crazy. He is growing up so fast.

21 months:
To the now. So I have put up posters on my cabinets of the ABC's and 123's. My cousin had some up at her house and Ty was very into them. He stood there for 15 minutes telling me all the letters he knew and counted to 10!!!. He is also now putting 3-4 words together. His most famous "sentence" is "Mommy, where pappy go?". I am sure to hear this all day long. He can point out 1-10 in numbers on the chart and only about 6 letters. Still pretty good I think. He knows the difference between up and down, in and out, off and on. He loves to tell me if the lights are on or off and as soon as we get in the car he tells me "radio on". He is infatuated with clocks and radios. He looks for them everywhere we go. In walmart all I hear is...radio and lights...ooohhhh. The funniest thing of all right now is what he calls my sister. Her name is missy and he could not get the "m" down on it for some reason (even though mommy and moo he says just fine) so he calls her aunt Biddy. She hates this but we all laugh. I have even been working on saying mmmmmissy and he says: mmmmmbiddy. So stinkin funny. He is also just now learning how to scoot on a "bike" . He had a hard timem understanding the concept that he could push himself and mommy and daddy didnt have to do it for him. I could go on and on about all the things this amazing and smart little boy can do. He makes me so very happy and I thank God for him EVERY DAY. He has blessed our lives so much. We love you Ty.
