So here's how it went down...

So here's how it went down....On March 29th I was home cleaning a little.  I started with contractions around 2 pm....by 6;30 they were pretty good.  My sister came over to check on me.  She was a bit excited. She hung around for a while and finally I sent her on her way.  I told her if I needed her I would call.  Well, I tried to hold on for a while.  Around 2 am I finally called the doctor.  Dr. Stands was on call.  I really like him. I knew my doctor came on call at 8 am.  She delivered Ty and I really wanted her again.  But that didn't work.  I had to call Missy.  It was time to head to the hospital.  This time Travis didn't lay in bed.  Haha.  I got my shower.  Didn't rush too much and we headed out the door.  These contractions were beginning to be a tad bit much. By the time we reached the hospital, walking was no fun.  Finally, I got checked in and hooked up to a monitor.  Oh boy the pain.  The contractions were coming FAST so they gave me a shot of something to slow them down. uh...that hurt.  It slowed them down but not the intensity. I was having another C-section and Dr. Stands was waiting to hear from the hospital to see if he needed to come in.  I believe that was a yes.  Come on in.  Lets have a baby.

No joke contractions!

That smile means I am close to delivery!

One more family photo op!   Missy woke him up to be there with us.

Pure Joy!

Luke's First Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUKE!

What a day.  A day that is so different than I thought it would be.  Never did I imagine that Logan would be celebrating his day with us.  Oh how I miss him.  With every bone and fiber of my body.  To just hold him one more time.  And I will.  One day. But for now, JESUS gets to hold him.  How awesome is THAT!  Luke, I can't imagine what a birthday celebration in Heaven must be like, but I am sure it is some kinda party.  You are ONE.  I bet you are walking now.  I'm sure Grandma Colleen has put a fishing pole in your hands and Nana Lynn has cleaned you up over and over.  I can see the smile on your face right now.
So this is how we celebrated here.  I was still not able to drive, so grandma and grandy took us to see you.
Ty wanted to bring you a balloon.  It had pictures of balloons on it as well.  He said you would like it.  I'm sure you did.  Logan had fun getting out of the house as well.  We had you cupcake flag with the pinwheel up.  Tell God I said thank you for the breeze.  It was wonderful to see it spinning. Once we got home, we had cake and sang you happy birthday.  Sure wish you were here to blow out the candles.  We miss you so much.  Love you forever!
