Ready for Work!

I thought this pic was just too cute. His Aunt Lori got him the monogramed shirt with his name and Travlyn on it. He looks just like his daddy with his navy blue shirt, kakhi pants and hat on.
He is ready to take over the business!

Exersaucer

My little boy is growing up. We went to Babies R Us and got Ty an exersaucer. He is doing so well holding his head up that I thought he might like to go ahead and give it a try. He did great in it. We put some blankets in front of him for support and only leave him it for no longer than 5 minutes. He is able to push the buttons all by himself and loves to look at the lights.

Cereal Anyone?

OK. So we started cereal. I know most infants start this at 4 months, but Ty is just hungry. He had his first taste on Wednesday and it was so much fun. I made it real thin for his first time. Boy was that messy. I think he may have spit out more than than he swallowed. All in all he had a blast eating. The next morning we made it a little thicker and that went much better. He smiled and opened wide for every bite. Here are a fun pics from his feeding tonight

Doesn't he look like a little boy.

Date with Abby

My boy is growing. He had his first date today. We met Abby, and her mom Christie and dad Marshall at Harbison Pond today to take a stroll. It was a beautiful day for it. The sun was shining, but the wind was blowing a little. Abby was born 2 weeks after Ty. She is weighing in at 10lbs and boy it felt different picking her up. She was so light. With Ty (17lbs), I can just "throw" him around he is so heavy. I had to be so gentle with her.
Ain't she too cute!
Look at those baby blues.

He's twice the size of her.

Ready to eat. NOW!
I think Travis looks good holding a little girl. Hmmmm...maybe next time.

Go get her boy!

I love her shirt: Made You Smile!

We got to see the ducks and get some Vitamin D from the sun. Ty was so kind to let Mr. Marshall and Mrs. Christie hear his great big voice. He got real hungry about half way around so we had a little lunch and after that he was a happy camper. Thanks Abby for playing with us. We had soooo much fun.

Meeting Elmo

Today we went to Learning Express at the Village of Sandhills to meet Elmo. Ty didn't think much of Elmo, but did enjoy looking at the toys. It was his 3 month birthday, so he picked out a little squirt fish as a present. I can't wait for him to get excited about meeting fun characters.

3 Month Pictures

So I know I haven't posted his 1-2 month pics, but these were online and easy to upload here. I really liked them all. I got the one of him on his stomach in black and white and in a frame. It is absolutely adorable. Once I get it hung, I will take a pic and post it. I can not believe he will be 3 months old tomorrow! My how time flies. He has grown so much. He is doing much better holding his head up is talking to us all the time.

Fun things about Ty

Ty loves:
To chew on his right fist.

To watch The Wiggles and Baby Einstein.

To play with his Mommy and Daddy.

To lay on the couch or on the bed and just kick kick kick!

To go for car rides. It puts him to sleep every time.

To play with his "Whoa Ball". He got this toy for Christmas.

To talk and laugh.

To smile.

To eat!!!!!!

Ty doesn't like:
To have his hands tied down. (tucked in under the covers)

To be burp.

To have lotion put on.

To be bothered.

To go to sleep.

EEG Results

The doctor's office called last night and the EEG test came back NORMAL. Praise the Lord! That has really taken a heaviness off my heart. I have been so worried. Now hopefully we can get back to weening him off his meds.
